Paul D. Baker, 66, of Rt 1, Kingman died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday in Vermillion County Hospital, Clinton. He was a retired farmer and grocer and was a member of the United Methodist Church at Cates and Yeddo Masonic Lodge. Mr. Baker was a life resident of Fountain County. He was born May 24, 1909, a son of William and Mabel See Baker. He married Bertha Baker Feb 15, 1946. She survives. Other survivors are two sons, Robert of Newman, Ill and Marvin of Muskegon, Mich; a brother, Eugene of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Nina Davies of Bloomingdale; and four grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Butler Funeral Home at Rockville. Burial will be in Silver Island Cemetery near Lodi. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday.
