Paralysis of the throat caused the death of Mrs. Grace Lucille BALES, 24, wife of Leroy Bales, former employee of the Attica Tribune Composing Room at 1 a.m. Friday June 11, 1937. Mrs. Bales became seriouly ill Tuesday and was taken Thursday noon to St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette where she died. She was born December 3, 1912 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Lindley, Cates. She was a graduate from Kingman HS in 1930. Surviving are the husband; 3 sons, Aaron, Arvin and Armand the parents and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were at 4 p.m . Sunday at the family residence on N. Perry Street the Rev. W. Warrner of Attica ME Church assisted by Rev. Mr. Sheigley of Cates officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
