Son of War Vet dead at Kingman

Frank Bannon, who spent practically his entire life in the Kingman community, d. at his home 4 mi. SO. of Kingman, Wed. morning at 8 o'clock. Death resulted from a stroke of paralysis, suffered two weeks ago. Mr. B. a farmer was b. near Hamilton, Ohio on Oct 28, 1859 the s/o John and Sarah Bannon. His father was killed in the Civil War and he was reared by an uncle, Louis Bannon. He was first married to Fanny Alward, and to this union were b. 2 children: Walter of California and Mrs. Helen Owens of Terre Haute, who survive. After the death of his first wife, Mr. Bannon was later married, in March 1899 to Ettie Barker and to this union were born seven children, who with the wife survive. They are Mrs. Mildred Davis of Rockville; Mrs. Doris Budd of W. Union; Mrs. Vance Lamb of Covington; Mrs. Mary Harvey of Tangier; Marvin Bannon of NY; Clifton Bannon of Terre Haute and Merril Bannon of Attica.
