COVINGTON — Rose E. Barcley, 90,
a resident of The Waters of Covington, and formerly of Veedersburg, died at
8:10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000 in St. Vincents Williamsport Hospital. She was
born Dec. 8, 1909 in Danville, Ill., the daughter of Fred W. and Elizabeth J.
Berthold Anders. She married Percy L. Barcley Nov. 30, 1948 in Whiting. He
preceded in death. She had been a resident of The Waters for three years. She
was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Danville, Ill. Survivors
include: two sisters, Ida J. Jones, Danville, Ill. and Wilhemina C. Anders,
Urbana, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were at 11
a.m. Saturday in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. Dickerson Funeral Home,
Veedersburg, was in charge of arrangements. –
