Effie E. Barker, 90, of Covington Manor Nursing Home, died at 12:45 p.m. Sun in Community Hospital at Williamsport. She was b. Jan 16, 1901 at Chatsworth Il to George Edgar & Blanc Elizabeth Simpkins. She was married Aug 9, 1919 in Covington to Glen Clifton Barker. He d. in 1954. Surviving are two daughter, Velma Graves of Cates & Thelma Wells of Veedersburg; 3 sons, Austin of Attica; Harrel Lee of Hayworth, Calif; and Bob G of Veedersburg; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. Two brothers, a sister and grandson are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wed in Dickerson Fun Home with the Rev. Dean Cox officiating. Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral Home 6 -9 pm. Tuesday.
