BARKER, Ora May Hershberger - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Ora May Hershberger, daughter of Adam and Harriet Hershberger, was born March 14, 1877, and died Feb 18, 1916, being 38 years, 11 month sand 4 days old. She was united in marriage to F. E. Barker in 1895. To this union were b. 7 children: Loyd, Oran, Nellie, Leona, Lila, Thomas and Morgan. Leona preceded her mother in death some 5 years ago. Mrs. B. underwent an operation at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on Nov 1, 1914 and grew steadily worse until the end on Feb 18 last. She was a member of the royal Neighbors Camp at Yeddo and of the Rebecca Lodge at Kingman. She leaves 6 children: one brother, John Hershberger, a sister, Mrs. John Smith, a half brother, William Hershberger, a half sister, Mrs. Charles Ham, and a host of friends to mourn her loss.
