Kendallville – Russell B. Barker, 40, president of Barker’s Firestone Store Inc here, died Friday after suffering a heart attack in his home. A native of Fountain County he came here 15 years ago from Crawfordsville. He was a WWII veteran. Surviving are the widow, Mildred; a daughter, Mrs. Robert C. Rittermeyer of Kendallville; two grandchildren and a brother, Ralph Barker of Kingman, Ind. Services were held today in the Berhalter-Hutchins Funeral Home with Rev. Don Jennings of the First Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery here. - kbz
