Cayuga—Geneva L. Barnard, 70, Cayuga, formerly of Danville, Ill., died at 11:12 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, 1989 at Meadow Heights Nursing Center, Williamsport.
  She was born Oct. 21, 1918 at Grape Creek, Ill., the daughter of Benjamin Pleas and Grace B. Shannon Wilson. She was married Sept. 6, 1951 in Paris, Ill. to Omer H. Barnard, who survives.
  She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and painting.
  Surviving besides her husband are four sons, Arthur Bruce, Jonesboro, Ark.; Charles Bruce, Leesburg, Fla.; Paul Bruce, Sarasota, Fla., and Harry Bruce, Beverly Shores, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four brothers, Emory Wilson, Kouts; Charles Wilson, Valparaiso; Harry Wilson, Decatur, Ill., and Earl Wilson, Cayuga, and four sisters, Ruth Beebe, Alexandria, La.; Rachel Greenwood, Knob Noster, Mich.; Millie Thatcher, Michigan City, and Minnie Korropp, Vandalia, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Bonita Keller on July 23, 1986, and a brother.
  Funeral services were Thursday at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home, Cayuga, with the Rev. Richard Dike officiating. Burial was in Eugene Cemetery. – thanks to S
