Chadron – Eleanor E. Bartlett of Chadron died Sunday Jan 10, 1999 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hay Springs. She was 100. She was born Jan 3, 1899 in Covington, Ind to Jacob and Mary (Romine) Ritchey. She was affiliated with the Eastern Star and DAR. Survivors are her son and wife, Bradford L. and Beatrice Bartlett Denver; daughter, Beverly L. Kreglo, Chadron and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond and daughter, Mary Ellen Medcalf. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday Jan 15 at the United Methodist Church. The Rev. KF Kaleauti will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established for DAR Eastern Star or Pioneer Manor. Donations may be sent to Community First Bank. Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
