Garfield Bartlett, 89, of Rt. 4, Attica, died Sunday (June 21, 1970) at Community Hospital in Williamsport. He had been ill one day. Mr. Bartlett was born April 3, 1881, in Warren County, the son of George E. and Anna Dowler Bartlett. He was married Feb. 9, 1907, at Rainsville, to Goldie Neal, who survives. He attended Modock school in Warren County. He had been a farmer all his life. He was a member of the Rainsville Community Church, Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Rainsville, and Rebekah Lodge Rose of Sharon No. 102 at Rainsville. Survivors include the wife, a foster daughter, Mrs. Marian Gray of Pine Village; five nieces, Mrs. Tula Ransom, Attica; Mrs. Myrna Landon, Pine Village; Mrs. Eileen Emerick, South Bend; Mrs. Kathleen Royal, Wolcott; Mrs. Betty Hail, West Lafayette; one nephew, Harrison Neal, Pine Village.--waw
