WILLIAMSPORT — Bill Beavers, 52, rural Williamsport, died at 7:37 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2006 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette. He was born Nov. 4, 1953 in Lafayette, the son of William and Vivian (Mitton) Beavers. He married Elaina Beaman May 1, 1982 in Williamsport. She survives. He grew up in Kramer and had lived his entire life in the Williamsport area. He attended Seeger High School. He currently worked for the Indiana Department of Transportation. He had previously worked for Harrison Steel Casting Co. in Attica for 11 years. He was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church. He enjoyed selling items at flea markets and attending auctions. He was an Indiana University basketball fan and NASCAR fan, with Dale Earnhardt being his favorite driver. Survivors, besides the wife, include: a son, Michael Beavers, Williamsport; two daughters, Rachel (Carl) Zehr, Pine Village and Amanda Beavers, Williamsport; two grandchildren, Noah Beavers and Carlee Zehr; two brothers; three sisters; a sister-in-law, Doneta Mattingly; and several nieces including Wendi Castillejos-Sota and Stormy Briddick. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with the Revs. Bryce Wiley and Don Williams officiating. Burial was in Rainsville Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent online at www.mausfuneralhome.com. – jlr
