Waynetown-- Mrs. Rose Beck, 79, died at 10 a. m. Thursday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been in failing health two years and seriously ill two months. Mrs. Beck was hospitalized last Saturday. Born Aug. 16, 1880, in Fountain County, she was a daughter of Jonathan and Sarah Armantrout Ingersoll. She married John Beck Aug. 8, 1901, at Covington. She was a member of Waynetown Christian Church and had lived her entire life in Fountain County. She had made her home two and a half miles west of here for the past 50 years. Survivors include the husband; a son, Paul Beck of Waynetown; a daughter, Mrs. Mablerose Wilson of Waynetown; a sister, Mrs. Rena Harlan of Waynetown and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary May, who died in infancy; three brothers, Alfred, Simeon and Walter Ingersoll and a sister, Mrs. Martha Young. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p. m. Saturday at Servies Funeral Home here with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Interment will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 4:30 p. m. Friday.
