James E. Beckelhymer James E. Beckelhymer, 52, who resided near Kingman on Veedersburg route 2, died at 3:30 a.m. Friday (March 26, 1971) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. He had been a patient there five weeks. Born June 22, 1918, at Syracuse, Ind., he was the son of Gladys Wickerson Beckelhymer. He was married to Rachel Downs, who survives. Mr. Beckelhymer had been a farmer and was a member of the West Liberty Christian Church. Survivors also included a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Spence of Glasgow, Ky.; a son, Donald J. of Wallace; a brother, Max of Covington; five sisters, Mrs. Annabelle Everett, Mrs. Shirley Coffing and Mrs. Gladys Van Hook, all of Covington, Mrs. Rosemary Drollinger of Kingman Rural Route and Mrs. Evelyn Whittaker of Perrysville; three stepbrothers, Lloyd Shookman of San Francisco, Calif., Robert Shookman of Decatur, Ill., and San Shookman of Randolph, Wis.; and two grandsons. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Sunday at the Woodrow Funeral Home. The Rev. George Souza will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Covington. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday
