Covington - Mildred E. Beckelhymer, 83, of Covington Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Veedersburg, died at 3:10 p.m. Jan 13, 1992. She was born May 29, 1907, at Richland Twp, Fountain County to Everett and Myrtle Shade DeAth. She married Charles A. Winner Oct 1, 1929. He preceded her in death in 1955. She later married Mark Beckelhymer. He preceded in death in 1957. She worked as a bookeeper until she retired in 1968. She was a member of the United Christian Church, Mellott, the DAR and Order of Eastern Star in Veedersburg. Surviving are three cousins, Charles Shade, Hillsboro, Mary and Leota Gilmore, Franklin; her close friends were: Carol Stonebraker, Veedersburg; Connie Scheurich, Wingate and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bruner, West Lebanon. She was preceded in death by a sister. Funeral services were held at Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Richard Throckmorton officiating. Burial in Rockfield Cemetery, Veedesrburg. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's charity of choice.
