Leeida V. Beedle of Washington, formerly of Attica, age 68, died Monday night, February 15, in St. Elizabeth’s Hospital at Lafayette. She was born in Hooker, Oklahoma, November 29, 1913, the daughter of Thomas Chauncey and Martha Elizabeth Moudy Pattengale. October 13, 1951, she married Rev. Fred Beedle, who survives. He is pastor of Beth Maysville United Methodist Church at Washington.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Billy A. Garriott of Freeland Park; a son, James L. Wall of Hampton, Virginia; five sisters, Beulah Biggs, Luella Bell, Gertrude Lefton and WaStella VanDame, all of Attica, and Josephine Mortimore of Mellott; four brothers, William, Dwayne, and Richard Pattengale, all of Attica, and Earl Pattengale of LaPorte; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Howard Rogers officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks so much to “S”
