HILLSBORO — Carl O. Beisecker, 92, formerly of Watseka, Ill., and had been residing with his daughter-in-law, Shirley Beisecker, at 2375 E. U. S. 136, Hillsboro, died at 8:14 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at the residence. He was born Oct. 27, 1908 in Galesburg, Ill., the son of Carl and Nellie Smith Beisecker. He married Rose L. Melton May 14, 1937 in Oneida, Ill. She survives and lives in Hillsboro. He was a graduate of Galesburg High School in 1926. He had lived in Watseka, Ill. for 50 years moving to Hillsboro in October of 1996. He worked as a tool and die maker, retiring in 1970. He was a member of the Galesburg Lutheran Church. Survivors, besides the wife, include: a daughter-in-law, Shirley Beisecker, with whom he and his wife made their home; three grandsons and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Beisecker, along with two brothers and two sisters. There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Prairie Chapel Christian Church, 2375 E. U. S. 136, Hillsboro, Ind. 47949. Maus Funeral Home, Hillsboro, was in charge of local arrangements. – jlr
