Attica, April 17 – The funeral of Mrs. Edith Bell, widow of Cecil Bell was to be held this afternoon at the home of her mother, Mrs. Emma Davis on McDonald Street, Rev. JH Anderson of Michigantown officiating’ burial in Riverside cemetery. Mrs. Bell had been a resident near Judyville for several years and had been in failing health the past year; the last six months she had been a patient in the Wabash Valley sanitarium near Lafayette and the state sanitarium near Rockville, having brought last week from the latter place. She passed away Friday afternoon at the home of her mother, death having been due to tuberculosis. Mrs. Bell was 35 years old last September and was born in Attica. Her husband died in October 1931. She is survived by six children, Charles, Verna, Margy, Dorothy, Wilma and Emma Alice, who have been making their home with Mr. and Mrs. Claude Thompson near Stewart. - kbz
