Funeral services of Addison Bell, 80, who died at his home in Hillsboro Friday evening after a five months illness of a heart ailment was held at the Wallace Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Chandler of Whitestown conducted the service. The pall bearers were: Ernest Bell, Lafayette; Earl Bell, Alamo; Vernon Farrell, Covington; Albert Underwood, Crawfordsville; Richard Carter, Kingman; Bob and Don Bell and Gordon Ratcliff. A male quartet composed of Ben Mitman, Charles McCauley, Claude Harding and Clayton Work, sang, accompanied by Mrs. Mildred Gray. Flower bearers were: Eleen? Lighty, Marjory Harshbarger, Katherine Bell, Joan Bell, Stella Bell, Martha Bell, Gladys Bell, Estel Lighty, Paul Harshbarger, Daisy Ratcliff, Anna Underwood and Amy Robinson. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery. Addison Bell was born the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Bell near Wallace Sept 20, 1869.  He was married to Phrana Livengood on Jan 24, 1894. He was a retired farmer, having moved to Hillsboro about a year ago. He was a member of the Wallace Lutheran Church. The survivors are his widow; three sons, Clifford, Veedersburg; Leslie, Hillsboro and Wilmer, Waynetown; one daughter, Mrs. Earl Carter, Kingman; two brothers, Ed of Alamo and William of Denver, Colo; a half sister, Mrs. Eva Frazier of Williamsport; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. – Hand dated March 1950.
