BERRY, Ida Campbell - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Ida C. Berry, age 94, a former resident of the Covington and Foster Communities died Saturday, June 19, at the home of her daughter in Sarasota, Fla. She had been ill several years. Mrs. Berry was born Aug. 29, 1870 in Newell Twp. in Illinois, the daughter of J. D. and Julia Howard Campbell. Her stepmother was Mrs. Mary K. Campbell. She was married to Orpheaus Milton Berry on Dec. 18, 1895 and he preceded her in death in 1929. She had been a member of the State Line Methodist Church for 82 years. She is survived by: one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Lemming of Sarasota; one sister-in-law, Mrs. J. (Mac) Campbell; and several nieces and nephews. The body will be brought to the Hegg Funeral Home in Covington where friends may call after 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon. funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Donald Ashley will officiate and burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Danville.
