Almena Bever of Stringtown, age 79, died Sunday night, May 2, in Covington Manor Nursing Center. She was born at Stringtown, April 14, 1903, the daughter of James and Amanda Coalman Crowder. August 24, 1944, she married Charles Bever, who survives. Mrs. Bever was a member of Stringtown Church of God.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. - thanks so much to S for all her great work on the obit section
