CAYUGA, Ind. – Mrs. Blanche Asbury Bever, 74, of St. Charles, Mo., died at 9:15 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 2, 1969) at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Charles. Charles. Born in Vermillion Township, Ind. in January 1895, she was the daughter of Willis and Elvira Newlin Asbury. She was married to Joe Bever in October, 1922. They spent their early married years in Rileysburg, later moving to Danville, Ill., where they resided at 22 Lake for 35 years before moving to St. Charles. Survivors include the husband, two sons, Robert and Rodney of St. Charles; a brother, V. N. Asbury of Newport; two sisters, Mrs. Clova Hughes of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Elizabeth Eaton of Mishawaka, and five grandchildren. The body will be brought to the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Newport with the Rev. Ned Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Newport Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Sunday.
