Wallace, Jan 4 – George A. Bever, 76, died at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville at 10 o’clock this morning, the result of complications.  He had been in declining health for four years and was removed to the hospital Wednesday night. Born near Hillsboro on May 8, 1858, he was the son of Isaac and Sarah J. Lowe Bever and was married oct 13, 1881, to Sarah E. Cory. He was a member of the Freedom Christian Church west of here and of the WOW Lodge of Hillsboro. He had spent his entire life in Fountain County and for the past 4 years operated a farm four miles northwest of here. Surviving besides the widow are two sons, Burch B. Bever of Kingman and Claud Bever, address unknown; three daughters, Mrs. George Wilson of near Wallace; Mrs. Elizabeth Samuel of Silverwood and Mrs. Ura Shelly of near Waynetown.  Funeral services will be conducted from the Freedom Christian Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock with interment in Centennial Cemetery near Yeddo. = kbz
