Hillsboro—Mrs. Belle Bever, 87, died at her home near Hillsboro Monday night at 7 o'clock. She had been ill the past week and death was the result of complications. Mrs. Bever was a former member of the Union Center church and had spent the greater part of her life in the vicinity of Hillsboro. Born Oct. 20, 1862, she was the daughter of the Taswell Leonards. She was first married to Austin Hesler. After his death she was married to Henry L. Bever, who preceded her in death in 1930. Surviving are two sons, Stanley Bever, at home, and Hobart Bever, Winter Park, Fla.; a brother, Lee Leonard, Nashville, Tenn., and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock (CST) from the residence. Rev. Leslie Smith of near Yeddo will be in charge and burial will be in Rockfield cemetery.
