Miss Martha E. Bever, 64, of Hillsboro, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan 17, 1974 at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsvillle. She had been a patient for one week. She was born January 19, 1909, near Veedersburg, the daughter of Henry and Effie Leonard Bever. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. John (Hazel) Houser of Crawfordsville Rt 6 and Mrs. (Daisy) Birch of St. Charles Mo; and a brother Harvey Bever of Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church and United Mehtodist Women. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crumley & Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Dorman Winger will officiate. Burial in Rockfield Cem. near Veedersburg. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
