Services for Truman O. Bever, Sr, 81 of Rt 1, Buchanan, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Swem Funeral Home with Rev. Maurice R. Wertenberger, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning today. He died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in Berrien General Hospital, Berrien Center where he had been a patient for the last two months. He was born April 26 1886 in Macon, Mo., coming to Buchanan from Attica, Ind in 1942. He married Tressie E. Smith on Jan 1, 1913 in Mellott Ind. She died Aug 7, 1961. He was a retired employee of the Clark Equipment Co. Survivors are three sons, Robert and Truman Jr. both of Buchanan and Orris E. harper, Los Angeles, Calif; two sisters, Mrs. Robert W. Smith of Williamsport, Ind and Mrs. Lena Board of Omaha, Neb; four grandchildren and a great grandchild. - kbz
