Funeral services for C. Paul Black, age 62, former resident of Perrysville and Cayuga communities, brother of Malcolm Black, Covington Rt. 3, who died unexpectedly July 29, at his home in Dolton, Ill., were held Monday, July 31, in Dolton with the Rev. Clyde Taylor officiating. Born in Warren County on Jan. 4, 1899, he was the son of Charles B. and Mary Jane Miller Black. He married Ethel Brasker of Danville, who survives. Mr. Black was a member of the Methodist faith. He was employed by an oil company for 34 years. Survivors include his wife; two sons, James P. of Harvey and Richard, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Gene Wilkinson and Mrs. John Bell, both of Dolton; two sisters, Mrs. Theodore Jensen of Perrysville, and Mrs. George J. Smith of Veedersburg; a brother, Malcolm of Covington Rt. and six grandchildren.
