Mrs. Julia M. Organ Black, 87, formerly of 3132 Prairie Lane, died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been in failing health one year and had lived in Regency Place since November 1894. Born in Logan Township, Fountain County in 1897, she came to Tippecanoe County in 1929. Her marriage was Jan 1, 1916 in Attica to Earl Black, a former Fairfield Mft. Co. employee. He died Sept 10, 1979.  Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Rob Roy (Pat) Travis, Mrs. Merle (Lucille) Rauch, and Mrs. Ovetta Patrick, all of Lafayette, Mrs. John (Virginia) Holmes, Sr. of Cape Coral, Fla and Mrs. John Gladys) Edwards of Monticello and three sons, Carl E. and Chester E. Black both of Lafayette and Daniel M. Black of Mechanicsburg, Pa. - kbz
