Mrs. Sadie Blacker, 85, native of Colfax, Indiana, died early Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Joe Holt in Veedersburg. She had been ill three weeks.
She was born at Beemount, Missouri on February 22, 1872, the daughter of Ambrose and Sarah Scott. She was married July 16, 1907 to Marshall Blacker who preceded her in death.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Holt is another daughter, Mrs. Edward Gee of Indianapolis; a son, Charles P. Bush of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Tabitha Blakely of Lebanon, Missouri and Mrs. Susan Dupree of Gardenia, California.
She was a member of the Colfax Christian Church. Services will be at 1:30 Friday in the Williams Funeral Home at Colfax with burial in Plainview Cemetery.
