Veedersburg -- Funeral services for Mrs. Harriet Cade Blair were held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Fishero Funeral Home with the Rev. James Dysen, pastor of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial was made in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. Serving as pallbearers were David Cade, Samuel Cade, Donald Miller, Robert Cade, Phil Blair and David Blair, with the assistance of Floyd Ellis, Arthur Boggs and Fred Reid, the above named pallbearers also carried the floral arrangements. Organ selections were played by Mrs. Gretchen Minnick.

Veedersburg -- Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Fishero Funeral Home for Mrs. Harriet Cade Blair, age 66, of Veedersburg, who died Wednesday, Nov. 28, in Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Danville. The Rev. James Dyson officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. She had been admitted to the hospital on Nov. 9. Mrs. Blair was a native of Fountain County and taught school for several years in Chicago before returning to live in Veedersburg. Born Dec. 15, 1895, she was the daughter of David and Ora Rivers Cade. She was a graduate of Veedersburg High School. Her husband, V. W. Blair, to whom she was married in July, 1929, preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Veedersburg. Survivors include three stepsons, Phil Blair of Veedersburg, David Blair of Oconomowoc, Wis., and Robert Blair of Coloma, Mich., and three brothers, Kenneth Cade of Veedersburg, Samuel Cade of Franklin and John Cade of Columbus.
