 Russell Lee Blinkenstaff of Attica, age 76, died Thursday, August 4, in Home Hospital at Lafayette. He was a retired vice-president and a member of the board of directors of Central National Bank and Trust Company. He had worked at Ingram-Richardson Company in Frankfort and Kennett-Murray Company in Attica before going to the bank, from which he retired after 24 years service.

  Blinkenstaff was born at Mulberry, March 24, 1907, the son of Edward D. and Cosette Metzger Blinkenstaff. In 1925, he married Mabel Catherine Miller, who survives. He was a member of Attica First United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and Eagles Lodge, the Indianapolis Scottish Rite and Lafayette Elks Lodge. Also surviving are a brother, Earl of Frankfort; three granddaughters, Mary Conrad of Covington, Patty Anno and Bertie Blinkenstaff, both of Attica; and three great grandchildren.

  The body was taken from Maus Funeral Home in Attica to the Attica First United Church for funeral services Saturday morning with Rev. R. Larry Smith officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. –s-
