BLOSSOM, Grace Carithers - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Grace Carithers Blossom, age 80, a native of the Gessie community, west of Covington, died Saturday, April 22, (1967) in a hospital at Bremerton, Wash. Mrs. Blossom was born June 3, 1886, near Gessie, the daughter of William P. and Mary Agnes Jones Carithers. She married Frank Blossom in 1910 and had lived in the state of Washington since. She attended school in Gessie and Rileysburg and the Brown Business College in Danville, Ill., employed in the office of Illinois Bell Telephone Co. in Danville. Survivors include: three sons, Glen and Dale of Squamish, Wash., and Bill of Bremerton; four daughters, Marjorie, Mrs. Mildred Montgomery, Mrs. Veryl Walker and Mrs. Julie Metz, all of Bremerton; 23 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul of Mission San Jose, Calif., and Harold of Covington Rt. 2; one sister, Miss Nellie Carithers of Covington Rt. 2, and a niece, Mrs. Beryl Walker. Services and burial were in Bremerton.
