VEEDERSBURG - Gerald Boden, 57, Veedersburg, employed for 32 years by Fountain Foundry, died Sunday in Veterans' Administration Hospita1 at Danville, Ill. A life resident of Fountain County, he was a veteran of World War II and member of American Legion Post 288 at Veedersburg. Born July 17, 1920, at Veedersburg, he was a son of Lester and Iva Hollis Boden. He was married July 13, 1951, to Wilma L. Hall. She survives. Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Carla Jasper and Mrs. Geraldine Carr of Attica and Mrs. Mary Jane Swindle of Talbot; a stepson, James Hall of Havana, Ill., a brother, Lester of Arizona; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Elliott of Florida and Miss Josephine Bodine of Williamsport; eight grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Veedersburg Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Cloyd Kyger officiating. Burial will be in Coal Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at Dickerson funeral Home 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
