resident ALVIN (CNS) -- Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bismarck United Methodist Church for Frank Bodine, 86, of Alvin Route 1. He died Tuesday (June 15, 1971) at the Danville Manor Nursing Home. The Rev. Robert Hackl will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Covington, Ind. The body is at the Morrison Funeral Home in Bismarck. Friends will he received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Born July 30, 1884, in Covington, he was the son of Ward and Maggie Morrison Bodine. He was married in August 1908 to Ava Law, who survives. Mr. Bodine attended Covington schools and had resided in the Bismarck area for the past 60 years. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Bismarck United Methodist Church and the Vermilion County Farm Bureau. Other survivors include three sons, Dean of Alvin Route 1, Marion of Brighten, Mich., and Harry of Sheridan, Wyo.; a daughter Mrs. Ephra Smith of Alvin Route 1; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
