COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Garnet Roberta Bodine, 57, of West Chicago, former resident of Veedersburg, died at 7:30 p.m. yesterday (March 1, 1968) in Hinsdale Hospital, Hinsdale. She had been ill since April, 1967. The daughter of Martin E. and Hannah A. Phillips Snyder, she was born April 20, 1910 near Bismarck. She was married April 15, 1936 to Harold Bodine, of West Chicago, who survives. Others surviving are a son, Terry, West Chicago; and a brother, Martin Snyder, Indianapolis. Mrs. Bodine had lived in West Chicago 24 years. Friends will be received at the Woodward Funeral Home, West Chicago, this afternoon and evening. Friends will be received at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, Sunday afternoon and evening. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Monday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

COVINGTON — Mrs. Harold (Garnet Roberta) Bodine, age 57, of West Chicago, a former resident of Veedersburg, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 1, in the Hinsdale Hospital at Hinsdale, Ill. She had been ill since April, 1967. Mrs. Bodine was born April 20, 1910, near Bismarck, Ill., the daughter of Martin E. and Hannah A. Phillips Snyder. She was married April 15, 1936, to Harold Bodine of West Chicago and he survives. She had lived in West Chicago 24 years. She had served as the Democrat Clerk-Treasurer in Veedersburg and was well-known throughout the area. Surviving, in addition to her husband are: one son, Terry of West Chicago; and one brother, Martin Snyder of Indianapolis. The body was brought to the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home here where funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiated. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Lee (Katie) Rennick and Mrs. Loran (Lura) Smith of Covington are sisters-in-law and Marvin Bodine of Covington Rt. is a brother-in-law.
