Mrs. Margaret Ophelia Bogan, 83, died Friday at home of a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Holmes, in Indianapolis.  The body was taken to Veedersburg where funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. with burial in Rockfield Cemetery. Mrs. Bogan was born in Veedersburg April 13, 1859, a daughter of John and Mary Rhorer Robinson. She was married to Alonzo Bogan, who preceded her in death. Surviving besides the daughter at whose home she died are two sons, Ralph of Veedersburg, Perry of Kokomo and five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was a member of United Brethren Church and Order of Eastern Star. - kbz

Margaret O. Robinson Bogan daughter of John and Mary Robinson was born April 23, 1859 in Fountain County, Indiana and passed away Friday Feb 26, 1943 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. HS Holmes in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was married Dec 28, 1877 to Alonzo F. Bogan, a native of Indiana.  He passed away September 3, 1908.  To this union was born six children, three of whom died in infancy. Surviving their mother are two sons, Ralph J. Bogan of Veedersburg and Perry L. Bogan of Kokomo, Indiana; one daughter, Myrta B. Holmes of Indianapolis. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Mrs. Ray Gossett of Urbana, Ill; Dean Bogan of the US Army; Mrs. HJ Ward of Rome City; Robert B. Bogan in the US Navy; and Richard C. Bogan of Indianapolis. Two grandchildren preceded her in death, namely, Carl Bogan of Veedersburg who passed away in 1933 and Winiford Clare Hannan of Indianapolis who passed away in 1940. She also leaves three great grandchildren, namely: Robert B. Therien, US Navy; Jack B. Ward of Rome City, Indiana and Donna Clare Hannan of Ottumwa, Iowa.  One brother, Jerome C. Robinson of Evanston, Illinois also survives.  She was a charter member of Valetta Chapter, Order of Eastern Star also a life resident of Veedersburg and member of the United Brethren Church. – kbz
