LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Lorama Boggs, 83, Louisville, Ky., died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000 in Jefferson Manor, Louisville. She was the former Lorama Wiese of Newman, Ill., and wife of Bert Boggs, publisher of newspapers in Veedersburg. She graduated in music performance from the University of Illinois, Champaign. She taught choral music at Danville (Illinois) Junior College and in the school systems of both Veedersburg and Danville. She also founded and edited The Country Cousin, a weekly magazine of her husband's publishing firm. Survivors include: two sons, Jon W. Boggs, Woodruff, S.C. and William W. Boggs, Ann Arbor, Mich.; two daughters, Jodi (Alan) Goldberg, Louisville, Ky. and Jayne (Kip) White, Veedersburg; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Cremation was in Louisville, and burial services were in Rockfield Cemetery, Veedersburg. Arrangements were handled by atterman & Sons Funeral Home, Louisville. Memorial gifts may be given to First Christian Church, 301 N. Mill St., Veedersburg, Ind. 47987, where she was active for many years. – jlr
