COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) - Mrs. Bertha H. Bolmgren, 65, of 721 Crockett, was found dead at her home Sunday. Death was attributed to natural causes and death was thought to have occurred Friday (Aug. 13, 1971). Death was unexpected. Born Dec. 26, 1903, at Elnora, she was the daughter of Charles and Alice Siefert Southgate. She was married in June of 1924 to Walter Bolmgren, who died in February of 1955. A resident of Covington since 1926, she was a former resident of Vincennes. She was employed by the Fountain County Welfare Department for 26 years, retiring in 1968. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Covington, Fortnightly Bridge Club, Troy Township Democratic Women's Club, Fountain County Mental Health Unit and Retarded Children's Association. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James (Patricia) Wright of State Line; a grandson, David Wright of State Line; and a granddaughter, Jill Wright of State Line. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eugene Rapson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday and after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
