BOND, Margaret Dowden - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Services were held Tuesday at Kingman Christian Church for Mrs. Margaret C. Bond, 68, of Kingman, who died at 1:18 p.m. Friday December 23 1977, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. Rev. Mark Gallagher officiated with burial in Tangier Cemetery. Tudor-Herrick Memorial Chapel in Rockville was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bond, a lifelong resident of Kingman, was a member of the Kingman Christian Church and its Ladies Aid. She also belonged to the Mill Creek Township Farm Bureau. She served as a correspondent fo the East Liberty community for the Fountain County Star for several years. Born January 24 1909 in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Grover C. and Lyna McMasters Dowden. Surviving are two sons, Max G. Bond of RR 2 Kingman and Harold E. Bond of Indianapolis and four grandchildren.
