JOSEPH O. BONE, aged 81 years, a resident of Covington since the Civil war, died at the Soldiers’ Home in Danville Thursday night from a complication of diseases contracted while in the army. He was a member of Co. E, 150th Ind. Inf. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the M. E. church, Rev. Strecker officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Hope cemetery. The deceased is survived by one son, Jasper Bone, who is past 50 years of age and has been totally blind since birth. – thanks to S&E
