ELLA BUSH BONEBRAKE

Source: obituary in a scrapbook from a collection of Fauniel Hershberger's typed, by Walt W

Since our 1ast meeting of June 14, 1935, death. has entered into our circle and broken the chain of our League. The death messenger has taken our president, who has labored so earnestly for the beautifying of our cemetery and the up building of our Cemetery League. In honor of her memory we wish to give this token of her service. Peaceful be thy silent slumber, Peaceful in thy grave so low; Thou no more will join our League, Thou no more our problems know. Yet again we hope to meet thee When the day of life is fled, And in Heaven with joy to greet thee Where no farewell tears are shed. Call not back the dear departed, Anchored safe where storms are o'er. On the border land we left her Soon to meet and part no more, When we leave this world of care, We shall find our missing loved one In Our Father's Mansion Fair. By members of Bonebrake Cemetery League in memory of Ella Bonebrake, who departed this life July 2, 1935.

Thanks, thanks, thanks Walt :)
