Ira Lincoln Bonebrake, the son of Tobias and Caroline Bonebrake, was born in Fountain County March 26th, 1861 and departed this life May 14, 1949, at his home in Kingman at the age of eighty eight years, one month, and nineteen days. He was married December 23, 1880 to Amanda E. McGillvrey, who died March 20th, 1902. To this union two sons were born, Edward, now residing in Hanford, California and Ralph, of Kingman. He was later married to Nellie Mole of Covington, Indiana, who preceded him in death August 23, 1936. He is survived by his two sons, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Ira moved from his farm near Yeddo to Kingman in 1904 where he has made his home the remainder of his life. After the death of his wife in 1936, he lived alone for several years until his health began to fail when his son, Ralph, came from his home in the State of Washington and faithfully cared for his father to the end.   Funeral services were conducted at the Woodrow Funeral Home on Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. J. M. McHargue officiating. Interment was in Centennial Cemetery. - S&E
