Cayuga – Miss Fannie Eleanor Booe, resident of Cayuga for 50 years, died at 6:50 a.m. Friday at Lake View Hospital, Danville, where she had been a patient for four weeks. Miss Booe had been ill two years.  The body was taken to the Watson Funeral Home here, where it remained until the funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Cayuga Christian Church. The Rev. OW McGaughey, pastor, officiated and interment was made in the Scott Prairie Cemetery. Miss Booe was employed most of her life as a drug and department store clerk. She was born in Fountain County and came here from Scott Praririe. She was the daughter of James R. and Frances Ophelia Save Booe, pioneers of Fountain County and was a graduate of Cayuga HS. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lena Ritter, Cayuga and Mrs. Frances Miller, Birmingham, Ala and one nephew, James Miller, Birmingham, Ala. - kz
