Covington, Ind Nov 23 – Frederick Boord, 56, formerly a prominent lawyer here died this afternoon at his rooming house on West Washington Street after a long siege of illness. The deceased is survived by his widow, formerly Virginia Rice, whom he married in 1898 and three children: Frederick Boord, Jr of Detroit; Perry Boord and Miss Alchomayo Boord, both of Atlanta, Ga. Boord practiced law for many years and was elected to the legislative from Fountain County. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Boord & Shelby undertaking home with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. - kbz
