Veedersburg --- Wendall Boord, age 72, died at 9:30 a. m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at his farm home north of Veedersburg. He had been in failing health a year. Born June 28, 1890, in the Veedersburg community, he was the son of John and Rose Campbell Boord. He was married June 28, 1927, to Marie Walker, who preceded him in death in 1943. Mr. Boord was an Army veteran of World War I and was a member of the Osborn Prairie Church. Survivors include a son, John, of Veedersburg; a brother, Cecil of Columbus, Ohio, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Osborn Prairie Church. Burial was in the church cemetery, with the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home of Veedersburg in charge.

Surviving are a son, John of Veedersburg and a brother, Cecil of Columbus, Ohio - kbz
