Emil Borst, 43, a resident of Hillsboro who was employed in the meat department of the A&P Food Store in Crawfordsville, suffered a heart attack while at work at 4:15 Monday afternoon which caused instant death. The Crawfordsville Fire Department resucitator was used for some time but proved to no avail. A doctor was summoned who pronounced him death.  Mr. Borst had been employed by the A&P Store in Brazil, Ind and Paris and Champaign, Ill for a number of years. He and his family moved to Hillsboro two years ago from Paris, Il,  He was the son of Henry and Trella Colvin Borst and was born in Attica Feb 27, 1909.  He was married to Miss Jessamine Smith of Veedersburg who with one son, Michael at home survive. Mr. Borst was a member of the Hillsboro Methodist Church.  He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Paris and of the Knights of Pythias of Veedersburg. Other survivors are a brother, Charles of Veedersburg; a half brother, David of Attica; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Bush of Battle Creek, Michigan and Mrs. Mabel Hight of Indianapolis. Funeral services were held at the Hillsboro Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.
