Attica - Janet L. Scott Bossaer, 66, of 4863 N. Riverside Road, died at 2 a.m. Sunday Jan 18 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette.  She had been hospitalized since Jan 9. Born July 31, 1931 in Champaign, Ill, she grew up in Attica, graduated from Attica HS in 1949 and had lived in the Bethel Community since 1950.

She married Glen Bossaer on May 27, 1950 in Attica. She was a homemaker and she assisted her husband on the family farm.  Mrs. Bossaer was a member of Bethel Community Church, serving as a teacher and Sunday School Superintendent for many years. She was instrumental in organizing the Bethel Church Ladies Aid in 1956 and was an active member of the Bethel Community Circle and Bethel Cemetery Association.  

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Sheila Bossaer Gustus of Lafayette; two sons, Jeff Bossaer and Mike Bossaer, both of Attica, her mother, Thelma Scott of Attica; a sister, Mrs. Lee Roy (Shirley) Dismore of Veedersburg and three brothers, Lawrence E. "Bud" Scott of Lafayette and Carl E. Scott and Charles D. Scott, both of Lafayette.

"Funeral Notices" - Bossaer, Janet L. - Friends may call at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, 11 a.m. Thursday with calling 1 hour prior to the service.  Pastors Greg Willhite and Larry Williams officiating.  Interment Bthel Cemetery.  Four grandchildren, Jason, Brian, Ashley and Austin Brossaer survive.  Preceded in death by her father and three brothers, James L., Thomas D and Daniel J. Scott.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel Community Church - kz
