DAVID BOWMAN

Source: People's Friend Feb 20 1890

David Bowman died at his residence one and a half miles north east of Wallace, Saturday, February 15 1890, at 7 o'clock p.m. of heart disease and asthma, of which he has been a sufferer for many years. Mr. B. was one of Jackson township's best citizens. He was 54 years old at the time of his death. He has been a resident of that township for many years and many warm friends was the result of his good life; he always had kind and cheery words for all. The Democracy of that township will feel their loss as strong as the friends, relatives and family circle. Uncle David has won life's battle and has gone to share the harvest with the righteous. He was laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery near Wallace on the following Monday noon, by undertaker Birdcell.
