BOWMAN, Roy Lee - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Roy Lee Bowman, 72, a life resident of Jackson Twp in Fountain County, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Culver Hospital where he had submitted to surgery two weeks ago. He was b. Feb 1, 1881, in Jackson Twp son of Jacob and Kathryn Bowman. He married Margaret Mckee, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, Lloyd; Russel and Max, all of Wallace; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel McCartney and Mrs. Catherine Medley, both of Logansport, Mrs. Mary Leslie of Camden, Ind; and Miss Elsie Bowman of Lafayette; four brothers, Elliott of Veedersburg, Glenn of Williamsport, William of Newton, Ill; and Pearly of Kingman; a sister, Mrs. Edna Gott of Crospie, Ill; 9 grandch and two great grandch. Funeral services were Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Wallace Christian Church with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery with the Crumley Funeral Home in charge.
