Lawrence E. (Pete) Bradburn, age 68, of 1012 Campbell, Danville, Ill., and a former resident of the Foster community, west of Covington, died at 5:06 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, at Lake View Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient six days. Mr . Bradburn was born Oct. 9, 1898, in Vermillion County, Ind., the son of Charles and Rebecca E . Shute Bradburn. He was married Jan. 27, 1934, to Mable Rodgers, who survives. He was a former resident of the Foster community and moved to Danville in 1949. He was a retired farmer and last had been employed by the St. Clair Trailer Sales. Suriving, in addition to the wife, are: two sisters, Mrs. Lula West and Mrs. Mary Belcher, both of Danville. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Lawrence Tedrow, pastor of the Benson Chapel Church, officiated. Burial was in Rodgers Cemetery.
