Danville, Ill. — Jerry V. Brandenburg, 28, of 904 Moore St., died at 6 p.m. Saturday at his residence. He was born in Attica April 5, 1938, a son of Roy V. and Catherine Finney Brandenburg. He was married Jan. 7., 1959 in Okinawa to Eiko Higa. A 1956 graduate of Veedersburg High School, he served four years in the U. S. Army, two in Korea and two in Okinawa. He was a member of the Sterling Christian Church and the Fairview Sportsman's Club here. He had been employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital for six years. Surviving besides the widow are two children, David and Judy, both at home; a brother, Ivan of Indianapolis, and a sister, Mrs. Betty Spurgeon of Newark, Ohio. Funeral rites are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Leon Willhite officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. Friends may call at the funeral home in Hillsboro after 5 p.m. today.
